Infertility Workup

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a technique in which sturdy sperm are sifted out from flaccid ones and later the washed sperm are placed into woman’s uterus during the time of ovulation.

In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)

IVF is a procedure in which the woman's eggs are fertilized with the man's sperm in a laboratory. Formed embryos are then transferred into the uterus for pregnancy.

Intra cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

ICSI is a modern fertility technique in which a single sperm is directly injected into an egg to fertilise it and then the fertilised egg (embryo) is transferred to the womb.

Blastocyst Culture and Transfer

Blastocyst Culture and Transfer is a Technique in which an embryo is developed in the laboratory for 4-6 days after fertilizations before being placed in womb.

Cryopreservation

Cryopreservation is a technique in which sperm, eggs and embryos are froozen at a sub-zero temperature to preserve them for future when the need arise.

Cost of an IVF Procedure

The cost of an IVF procedure is approximately 1.5 Lakhs, but is dependent upon the medical condition of the couple. There may be additional medication and treatments suggested for the couple which may further vary the cost.
